Johnson Controls, Inc. (JCI) is our sole premier sponsor of the 27th Annual Day of Caring, the single largest volunteer event at United Way of North Central Massachusetts. In the past three years, they have contributed $15,000 in sponsorships – JCI has been a generous sponsor of this event for more than 10 years, helping us to create an experience for volunteers that is unlike any other. JCI encourages volunteerism amongst their employees and for the past five years, their team has comprised many our volunteers for the event, with some years reaching has high as 125 JCI team members participating. Many of the projects JCI team members participate include clean-up efforts, landscaping and maintenance of local recreation areas including lakes, trails, parks, orchards and more. The benefit of their participation is widespread and creates a lasting impact in our communities.
“At Johnson Controls, we’ve been making buildings smarter since 1885, and our capabilities, depth of innovation experience, and global reach have been growing ever since. Today, we offer the world’s largest portfolio of building products, technologies, software, and services; we put that portfolio to work to transform the environments where people live, work, learn and play.”
Day of Caring would not be possible without the support of community partners like JCI. We are incredibly grateful for their commitment to supporting their local community and know that we can count on JCI to continue to make an impact. In addition to sponsoring the Day of Caring, JCI provides sponsorships for other events/initiatives, participates holiday giving, holds board seats within United Way and is a valued member of the community for us to lean on for ideas and innovation to help bring North Central to its best possible version. Thank you, JCI, for helping us to exemplify how when people come together and resources are shared, our communities become stronger and healthier!
