Johnson Controls, Inc. (JCI) has been a Premier Sponsor of Day of Caring, our largest volunteer event at United Way, for years. Not only have they generously sponsored the event for over 10 years, they have also made it possible for many JCI employees to volunteer at the event. For the last 5 years, between 85-125 JCI volunteers have participated each year! JCI employees have helped to pick countless apples and pumpkins at Sholan Farms in Leominster. They were part of an Athol town-wide clean-up effort. They have assisted with painting and clean-up at the Girl Scout’s Camp Green Eyrie site. They have participated in food packaging events. They worked with Leominster Trail Stewards to build a bridge at the Doyle Community Center. They have also helped with photographing the event!
Day of Caring wouldn’t be possible if it weren’t for community partners like JCI. We are incredibly grateful to JCI for their true commitment to supporting their local communities through sponsorship, volunteerism and their other countless philanthropic efforts, like donating wonderful presents to the Gardner C.A.C (Community Action Committee) annual holiday gift program. Thank you, JCI, for being a Premier Sponsor of Day of Caring and for caring about your community!
