Philip Grzewinski, President/CEO, Announces Retirement After 28 Years of Dedication

Philip Grzewinski, the President/CEO of the United Way of North Central Massachusetts and President/CEO of the Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts, will be retiring from both positions during the summer of 2019.  The Boards of the two organizations have formed search committees to identify separate CEOs to succeed Grzewinski. Grzewinski has served 28 years as President of the United Way, and he has also served as the President of the Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts since it was formed in 2001.

What is Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) Week? RAK Week is an annual opportunity to unite people around the world through kindness, starting officially on February 17th and ending Saturday, February 23rd.  The week kicks-off with Random Acts of Kindness Day, which is celebrated on February 17, 2019.  Why is it important?

United Way of North Central Massachusetts Seeks Support for Victims of Townsend Fire

United Way of North Central Massachusetts (UWNCM) is working with the residents of Townsend and surrounding areas to raise money to help support 43 individuals impacted by Monday’s 4-alarm fire at a Townsend apartment complex. 100% of all donations received will be directed to Townsend Ecumenical Outreach (82 Bayberry Hill Rd, Townsend, MA 01474).  The funds will be earmarked solely for those affected by the disaster.
