Tyco SimplexGrinnell Awards Two Grants to United Ways Across the U.S. to Continue Expansion of Youth Venture Leadership Program
WESTMINSTER, Massachusetts – Two United Ways will launch United Way Youth Venture programs as a result of seed grants awarded by Tyco SimplexGrinnell, a leader in the fire and life-safety industry. The $30,000 grants will go to the Pike Peaks United Way, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado and United Way of Greater New Bedford, serving southeastern Massachusetts. The support is made possible by the funds that employees from Tyco SimplexGrinnell and Tyco Integrated Security contributed during the recently concluded annual United Way Campaign.
