United Way Day of Caring – Update!


With just 31 days left until our largest event of the year, hundreds of volunteers will join together to improve the North Central Massachusetts community at the 24th annual United Way Day of Caring.


Throughout the day, volunteer teams will lend a hand in projects that help local area non-profit agencies. Last year, over 2356 volunteer hours were donated to making our community a better place. For 2019, some projects include:

•  Cleaning

•  Painting

•  Gardening

Interested in getting involved?



Contact to submit a volunteer project. Projects can entail a variety of tasks including basic cleanup and renovation site work as well as clerical or technical work.


Business and individual volunteers

Register to coordinate a team of volunteers at your company, or join a team as an individual at Volunteer Registration closes on September 13.

Sponsoring the Day of Caring is a great way to showcase your company’s commitment to strengthening the community and improving the lives of people in our area. Sponsors are widely acknowledged through social media and event press and are listed on the back of volunteer t-shirts.
